APPROACH
A human-first way of making art.
I'm a director, deviser, and educator dedicated to consent-forward practices in the rehearsal room and on set.
I approach intimacy and violence as physical storytelling, rooted in human connection, shaped by curiosity, and built through care and rigor. My process balances technical precision with creative possibility, crafting choreography that is deeply specific to the people, relationships, and world of each story.

What I believe.
Four principles shape every room I work in.
01
Consent comes first.
Everyone involved knows what's being asked of them and has a real way to say yes, no, or not yet, at any point in the process.
03
Safe is repeatable.
Good choreography is set, documented, and rehearsed so it holds up the same way from first preview to closing night.
02
Clear beats awkward.
Specific language and agreed-on choreography take the guesswork out of vulnerable moments, so the room can relax into the work.
04
Play is part of the process.
People take their biggest creative risks when they feel safe and supported. I bring rigor and a sense of humor in equal measure.
Safety isn't the opposite of bold work. It's what makes bolder work possible.
